Looking to join or give HEMA a try?
East Bay Historical Fencing (EBHF) is located in Walnut Creek, CA and practices Meyer's German Longsword, Italian Longsword, and Italian Bolognese One Handed Sword as part of the Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).
All skill levels are welcome, however we have a 13 years of age minimum to participate. There is spare gear available. All you need to bring is yourself in workout cloths, water, and a snack in case you need it.
There are currently 2 classes a week (1 of which is through invite or interest after regular attendance) . There is an optional $5 suggestion if you attend to help pay for gear and gear maintenance. EBHF is not for profit.
